I’m Michelle, a proud Kiwi from Auckland, New Zealand, and have been living in Cape Coral, Florida for the past 12 years.
With a professional lifetime of media and marketing experience across three continents and various industries, I founded Social Ocean Media to help businesses thrive online in today’s daunting social media world.
I graduated from Massey University in 2000 with a degree in media, marketing, and communications, when social media was just emerging.
The first email I ever sent was to the only person on the planet that I knew had an “email address”, and that landed me a job on a Caribbean cruise ship 4 weeks later, teaching me the power of the internet to annihilate international borders when it comes to pursuing a dream.
When I’m not working, I love traveling (64 countries and counting), spending time with my almost-teenage daughter, and writing children’s books about our French Bulldog puppies.
